UI/UX Design & Responsive Layouts
A beautiful website isn’t necessarily a good website.
Effective UI/UX begins with understanding how people actually interact with a site. Where do they look first? What information are they trying to find? What makes them hesitate? What happens when they visit from a phone?
Agility Web approaches interface design from the user’s perspective while keeping the underlying technology and business objectives in view. Layouts are designed to be intuitive, responsive, accessible, and practical to maintain.
That means thinking beyond desktop mockups and individual pages. Navigation, hierarchy, typography, calls to action, forms, content structure, mobile behavior, and the relationship between individual pages all contribute to the experience.
With a development background as well as design experience, I can also evaluate whether a proposed design will actually work once it leaves the mockup and enters the real world.
Design should serve the user, not the other way around.
First impressions form almost instantly - design is doing more work than most people realize.
